The tasks that one does during the course of a day as a data scientist are subject to a great deal of variation. Since this is the case, a data scientist may be engaged in any of the following activities on any given day (in no particular order): developing proposals for projects. conducting sales meetings while serving as the technical resource. consumer networking and interaction. learning about emerging technology. taking classes or classes. guiding and advising emerging data scientists. taking charge of project teams. looking at the data. By interaction with consumers, one might acquire domain expertise. establishing the business cases generating ideas for potential solutions to issues. constructing models that are predictive. putting models into production (or deployment). the process of developing dashboards and infographics!
