With regards to v2com The standard ‘use me’ boxes, also known as dustbins, have been revolutionized by a simple activity carried out by Denmark’s whizz kids in light of the appropriate answer for waste management that exist today… According to Heiða Nolsøe and Marie Berggreen, two students of Design Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, what was initially planned to be a project for the first semester has now evolved into a company setup that both of them are leading (DTU). In addition to being made from recycled cardboard, DropBucket comes with a PE-liner that renders the cardboard water-resistant. The design of the structure, which is in the form of a pyramid, makes it resistant to wind, and it can be set up and ready to use in a very short amount of time with only a push. Additionally, it can be flat-packed, which helps to reduce the amount of space required for storage and makes it easier to travel. Furthermore, since it is weightless, it is comfortable to carry ten flat-pack pieces under each arm during transit. It is possible to reuse the bin depending on the kind of garbage that it has previously contained, and the disposal process results in recycling. Because of all of these advantages, the DropBucket is a container that is not only economical but also robust, portable, and environmentally friendly. At the millions of festivals and events that are held all over the globe, garbage disposal is sometimes an afterthought that is dealt with in a shoddy and unsatisfactory manner; DropBucket takes care of these last-minute aesthetics in a sensible manner. Now that the original DropBucket portfolio has been prepared, it has been divided into three new modules: one for home use, one for business usage, and one for wider distribution. Now, it is being disseminated all throughout Germany, the Faroe Islands, and Denmark. It is also being spread throughout Iceland. Additionally, discussions have begun with distributors in the countries of Sweden, Norway, and Austria. It has been announced that DropBucket has been awarded the Red Dot Design Award for Best of the Best in 2015! It is possible to see the photographs on indiaartndesign.com by clicking here.
