When countries are experiencing a downturn, they have a tendency to go in the same direction. In an effort to clean up the mess that the citizens have made, they place a new leader on top of the rubble and expect them to lead us out of the shambles. They put their hope in a new leader who says all the right things, and in a desperate attempt to clean up the mess that the citizens have made, they do this. There was a promise made by Mao that he would provide China with something that the previous emperors were unable to achieve; communism. The Italian people were promised a restoration to the splendor of Rome by Mussolini; however, they were instead forced to submit to Germany, which was followed by a humiliating loss. They got a world that bound itself together at the cost of millions of lives to crush her ambitions in less than a decade, which left her destroyed, divided, and stuck with a legacy of shame. Hitler promised a renewed and “Great Germany” that would rule nations for a thousand years. They got a world that bound itself together. The United States of America then comes along with her deep dive into perversity and immorality, mocking her founding fathers and disrespecting her foundations in Scripture as well as her very own Constitution. In response to all of this, the solution is still another leader, Donald Trump, who promises even more “greatness.” The country that is considered to be special is going to demonstrate that it is identical to all of the countries that came before it, which is not that remarkable after all. The past may be nice, but that is not the case right now. A section in the Bible that describes the history of the first thirty years of the Church is one of the most peculiar passages in the Bible. In this text, one of the first deacons becomes the first martyr of the church. Although it was a heinous killing, the fact that it provided the impetus for the mob to kill the young deacon Stephen is what ultimately jumps out. While he was being brought before the authorities for the accusation of sedition, he started his defense by describing the glorious history of the country of Israel and the way in which it had interacted with God. They devoured it, and some of them were contemplating going ahead and letting him go since that was just what they had been hoping to hear. Stephen’s extended rant is being recorded verse after verse, and it seems like everything is going to be all right in the end. However, when Stephen brings up Jesus and explains that they are the ones who rejected, denied, and killed the same Lord of Glory that God had sent them, they completely change their minds. In a peculiar turn of events, they did not just murder him; rather, they took measures to ensure that they would not hear any more of his statements by engaging in the juvenile but common conduct of those who are defiant: they covered their ears. “Then they screamed out with a loud voice, and they shut their ears, and they went upon him with one accord, and they threw him out of the city, and they stoned him; and the witnesses lay their clothing down at the feet of a young man whose name was Saul.” (Acts 7:57–58) [footnote] Within the United States of America, there is a revival of voices that are urging us to repent and renew ourselves. Our fondness for everything that is obscene and sleazy is being rebuked, and a genuine call to holiness is being poured out like a huge flood. Exactly how are we going to react to these messengers? We are following in the footsteps of those who came before us and “stopped up their ears.” Although we have not yet started murdering the messengers, we are punishing them with increased intensity and applying a force of indifference to the messages that they are sending. The media keeps a close eye on the candidates who are leading in the race for political office, hanging on their every word as if their pledges held redemption itself. In the backwaters of the media, where tweeters and bloggers may throw doubt, hatred, and drown out the essence of a message in a sea of personal ideas, unpleasant attitudes, and four-letter expletives, the clarion cry to what is right has been relegated to the backwaters of the media. It has become an art form in the United States to cover our ears. What constitutes morality is not a matter that is decided by states, courts, celebrities, or presidential candidates. It was many years ago when the late David Wilkerson made the prediction that the United States of America would be on the verge of its final days. He predicted that the authority of scripture, the constitution, and families would be replaced by the authority of judges, politicians, and activist groups. It has come to light that this prediction is accurate, and the list is quite remarkable. Now that the same court body that granted us the freedom to kill our own offspring (Roe) has given the go-ahead for perversion in marriage (Obergefell), we can only anticipate what can happen in the future. The clamorous electorate has just declared that they have a favorite candidate in the campaign for the White House. They have said that they believe Trump is a non-politician, an outsider who would repair everything. Nevertheless, he just recently said that it was perfectly OK for guys to use the restrooms reserved for women. He performed what is now popularly referred to as “walking it back” when the axe of public opinion came down on his comment that was not recommended. According to him, the decision would ultimately be made by the states. The non-politician used a political strategy that is widely recognized as “passing the buck,” which is one of the most popular political scams in the history of our country. There is nothing to see here, people; he is just another politician who is hiding in the twisted insanity of his own personal goals and political jargon. As a result of North Carolina’s unwillingness to allow the slippery slime to make its way into their state, celebrities and companies have joined the progressive movement in their efforts to disassociate from or boycott places like North Carolina. Already, the consequence of this planned horror show is making headlines, and this is happening before the debate has even started to die down. The headlines that read “IT’S BEGUN: Man Goes Into Women’s Bathroom And Commits Horrific Act To 10-Year-Old Girl” are a warning that much more terrible things are on the horizon. Stay tuned for further information. Prognoses are what real prophets provide, whereas diagnoses are what pop prophets offer. About forty years was the typical amount of time that passed before the predictions found in the Old Testament were successfully fulfilled. In addition, the contemporary prophetic voices of the United States of America will also be right on time. This rule is universal, yet it occurs often enough that we can very well rest confident. Our country is on the verge of experiencing its own unceremonious collapse into the heap of previous glory if we do not turn, repent, rethink, and reverse the current road that we are on. My own God-given utterance is becoming closer and closer to being realized, and I am getting excited about it. There is nothing that will jolt the United States of America out of its fixation with sleaze more quickly than a sudden, profound, and comprehensive disconnection from its riches. Each and every man, woman, and kid in this country will be impacted by the impending economic collapse, which is just around the horizon. It was recently mentioned that we would be switching lines in the very near future. We will not be waiting in line at Starbucks for our pricey elegant lattes; rather, we will have walked over to the line where a piece of bread and a bowl of soup are handed to individuals in order to protect them from the deteriorating effects of poverty and hunger. The prophets of popular culture are urging greater “greatness” for the United States of America; this is, in fact, the diagnosis of idiots. The prognosis and the diagnostics with regard to this country are quite bleak. “And now likewise the ax is laid unto the root of the trees; therefore, every tree that does not put forth good fruit is hewn down, and it is thrown into the fire,” the Bible says.
