The book of revelations, sometimes known as the apocalypse, has three different beasts: two lions and one dragon. In the same print, Durer illustrates both of the monsters that are predicted to appear in the end of the world. The first beast, which is stated in Revelation 11:7, emerges from the ocean, or more specifically, the “abyss.” We are given a description of the first beast to appear in Revelation 13:1-10. It looks like a leopard, but its mouth is that of a lion, and its feet are paws like those of a bear. This description was appropriated from the hebrew book of daniel, which describes four monsters emerging from the sea: a lion, a bear, a leopard, and a beast with 10 horns. Therefore, the notion of a dragon beast has its roots in Jewish tradition. The first beast has seven heads, each of which is emblazoned with a blasphemous name, and 10 horns, all of which are topped with a crown. Them are confused and drawn to the beast since it looks to have a deadly wound on one of its heads, yet the wound has healed, prompting people to follow the beast. In revelation chapter seventeen, we are given the information that the beast has a crimson hue. The seven heads of the beast stand for seven kings as well as seven mountains, while the 10 horns of the beast symbolize ten kings who do not yet have kingdoms of their own. It has been informed to us that five of the seven kings have been defeated, one is, and the other has not yet arrived. In addition to this, we are informed that the beast itself is an eighth monarch who is a member of the seven but is destined to be destroyed. Furthermore, we are informed that despite the fact that this beast “once existed, it does not exist today and it will arrive.” revelation chapter thirteen focuses mostly on describing the second beast, which can be found in the book of revelation. This second beast emerges from the ground, but its general form is not detailed. All that is known about it is that it has two horns, similar to those of a lamb, and speaks in a dragon’s voice. His mission is to bolster the credibility of the first beast, which has the power to do a wide variety of miraculous deeds, including the capacity to cause fire to fall from the sky. It is also possible to refer to this second beast as the false prophet. He gives orders to the inhabitants of the earth in the voice of a dragon, telling them to create an image of the beast that sprang from the water and to worship him. Anyone who does not worship the beast or an image of the beast has been threatened with death, even having their head severed. Everyone who is subject to this authority must also carry the mark of the beast, which may be placed on the right hand or on the forehead. The beast with the ram’s horns sprang from the ground. the number 666, which is the mark of the beast However, academics have deduced a numerical number for the beast, and that value is 666, but it may also be determined as 616. The name of the second beast is never disclosed, but scholars have deduced its numerical value. This is the origin of the widespread urban legend that the symbol of the beast was the number 666. If you would want to learn more about what is really mentioned regarding the mark of the beast, you may do so by visiting the following website: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/number of the beast. the monstrous creature with two horns Let’s take a pretty close look at how Durer portrayed this two-horned beast in his painting. the beast with two horns like a lamb, the beast of the earth, the beast who had a mark in earlier versions of the bible that had been printed in germany, the beast with two horns was depicted as “a sitting ewe” (quentelle bible apocalypse) or a winged dragon. However, in more recent versions of the bible, the beast with two horns is shown as a winged dragon (bamberg apocalypse and gruninger bible). The beast with two horns that Durer depicted is most likely a lion that has been horned. horns on more than two sides? But does Durer’s monstrous lion, which has the horns of a lamb instead of its own, only have two horns? Perhaps or perhaps not. If one looks closely at the way Durer portrayed the lamb horns on this lion, they will see that the artist is really representing four horns and not just two of them. What breed of sheep had four horns and what kind were they? a kind of sheep often referred to as a jacob sheep. Jacob sheep typically have four horns, although they may have as few as two or as many as six. The number of horns on a Jacob sheep can range anywhere from two to six. There is no other breed of sheep quite like the Jacob sheep, which dates back to ancient times. They are easily identifiable because to their black and white fleeces and prominent horns, and they have a modest physique with the narrow, slender carcass characteristic of some of the historic British breeds. Both men and females have horns, which may range from two to six in number depending on the individual. The four-horned rams that have two vertical center horns that may be as long as two feet and two side horns that curve down along the side of the head are the animals that many people find to be the most remarkable. The more common and recognizable double curl may be seen on the horns of two-horned rams. Horns on female sheep, known as “ewes,” are often smaller and more delicate than those on male sheep, known as “rams.” Just who is this “jacob”? Therefore, why may Durer have chosen to show a “beast” that is commonly recognized as a Jacob sheep and has four horns? In this picture, may he be referring to someone whose name is Jacob? And why did he choose to place this two or four horned picture on the body of a lion specifically? Even though the second beast is the beast of the earth, if we look very carefully, we can see that this beast has the body of a lion and is coming from the water. Is there anybody who has noticed the issue as of yet? The first beast, the one that arrives from the sea, is shown by Durer as coming from the earth, while the second beast, the one that comes from the earth, is depicted as arriving from the sea. In other words, the monsters are facing the wrong way and are glaring directly at the people around them. Why did he choose to tell the narrative in reverse order? The second creature is very certainly a sea lion, with the body of a lion emerging from the water. There was one particularly famous patrician family in Nuremberg known as the Imhofs, and their shield of arms included a sea lion. And can you identify who has a member of their family called Jacob?
