“And she called the kid Ichabod, saying, The glory has fled from Israel: because the ark of God was stolen, and because of her father-in-law and her husband,” the Bible says. Then she spoke up and said, “The glory has been taken away from Israel; for the ark of God has been transported.” (1 Samuel 4:21-22) A As soon as Israel was deprived of the visible manifestation of God’s presence, which was the Ark of the Covenant, they announced that the glory of God had left their country. The cross of Christ is the tangible expression of God’s splendor in the modern world; yet, this depiction is now disdained, destroyed, and largely disregarded by the United States of America. Does this imply that the glory of God has already removed itself from this country that was previously blessed? People have been fired from their jobs, lost coaching and playing positions in major sports teams, had their fortunes depleted, and had their names smeared all because of their overt and fearless representations of their faith under the sign of the cross. All of these things have occurred because of the fact that they have been pictured holding the cross. As of right now, homosexual organizations are on the verge of developing legal means to criminalize the preaching of clearly defined passages from the Bible. These passages indicate, without a shadow of a doubt, that God has declared homosexuality and transgenderism to be a grave sin and a clear path to both personal and national judgment. Beginning with the White House and extending all the way down to the streets of our country, the spirit, ideology, and overall predisposition for all things that are blatantly anti-Christ are prevalent. Confusion, horror, societal upheaval, and behaviors that cannot be explained are the outcomes that have now emerged as a direct consequence of these tendencies happening simultaneously. The days of confusion are upon us, regardless of whether or not people are able to make a connection between these findings and our descent into reprobation, or even whether they even care to hear about it but have no bearing whatsoever. There is a general apathy (falling asleep) that has left the once powerful soldiers of the cross staggering under the drunkenness that has been created by political correctness, misguided social structuring, consensus driven immorality, materialism, and self-indulgence. American churches are plagued with apostasy (falling away), scandal and controversy (falling apart), and a general apathy (falling asleep). Not only is it a lengthy list, but it is also a lengthy fall! At this point in time, our country does not have a moral front left. As seen by the recent effort to shift responsibility for the massacres that occurred at a Colorado Planned Parenthood abortion facility, immorality is now in fashion, and the transference of guilt has reached a totally new height. The liberal media is putting up the claim that the language used by pro-life activists was the impetus for the shooting that resulted in the death of a person. Here we go… It is not the gory drain of healthy human blood, the squandering of vital body parts, or the death of innocent kids that is producing all of the revulsion; rather, it is the fact that we speak about it at an excessive rate! It is possible that I may be seen as guilty of using this phrase an excessive amount; yet, it is in this context that I feel compelled to use it once again. If we claim that speaking up against murder, slaughter, terror, and any other significant evils is what leads to sin and death, then we are committing a grave sin. This explains why Jesus stated, “…wisdom is justified of her children.” we now understand why he said this. (According to Lu 7:35) It is for this reason that, if Planned Parenthood and those who support it have its way, the United States of America will soon be entering the gates of its first generation that does not produce children. Wisdom and children will not exist in our day. There will be no children. Denial, political correctness, and obfuscation have taken the role of repentance in our public and private lives. This is true for both individuals and groups. It is not an exception in politics. After eight years of Barack Obama’s feckless foolishness, we are about to miss the opportunity to seat a president with the deeply rooted faith of our founding fathers, like Ted Cruz, when we are about to replace him with a loud mouth billionaire like Donald Trump, who is unable to quote a single verse from the Bible. When it comes to making responsible decisions and behaviors, popular items are not a suitable alternative. It is possible that we will receive what we desire once again, just as we did in 2008, but it is a very long way from what we need. The fact that God is able to and will withdraw the blessings and advantages from a country or a church is definitely assured, and it is revealed in the two chapters of the New Testament that are presented below with this information. When Israel refused to acknowledge the presence of the Messiah, despite the fact that he was right there among them, a message was sent to them. When the second sermon was delivered, it was addressed to the churches of Asia that were already falling into a state of disbelief and false doctrines, not to mention idolatry, which they had picked up from what could be considered the church’s initial attempts to produce religious diversity and inclusion. In response to Israel, Jesus made the following statement: “Therefore, I say to you, the kingdom of God shall be withdrawn from you, and given to a country that brings forth the fruits thereof.” [Matthew 21:43] He addressed the Church with the following words: “Remember therefore from whence you have fallen, and repent, and perform the first works; or else I will come unto thee swiftly, and I will take thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” Revelation 2:5 What should we do? As some people might argue, simply relocate to Russia! One of the most significant revivals of the Christian faith is currently taking place in the former Soviet Union. This revival is taking place on a scale that has not been seen since the great revivals that took place in the United States of America between the years 1720 and 1760, led by preachers such as Jonathan Edwards and others. The restored open faith of President Vladimir Putin, who has publicly expressed his trust in God and has therefore supported the leaders and ministries of the Coptic or Eastern Orthodox Church of Russia, provides a significant impetus for the renaissance that is taking place in Russia. He has established an environment that is conducive to the growth and development of all Christian churches. In point of fact, Franklin Graham asserts that throughout the time of communist government in Russia, there were only fifty Pentecostal churches scattered around the country. Today, however, there are over two thousand of these churches. During his most recent trip to Russia, Evangelist Franklin Graham went to a number of churches in Russia, including those that are Baptist, Pentecostal, and affiliated with the Coptic faith. Graham provides a detailed account of his trip in a beautiful essay that can be read in the Decision Magazine published by BGEA. In the story that was published in Decision Magazine, there are some remarkable photographs that show Graham meeting with Putin and other church leaders, such as the Patriarch of the Orthodox Church, when he was in Russia. These photographs are definitely worth looking at. Graham asserts that the churches are always crowded, regardless of whether he is speaking or not, and that this is always the case. This occurs in Russia, whereas the number of people attending churches in the United States is decreasing, with the exception of what are known as “feel-good” trendy churches. These churches attract tens of thousands of people who may or may not be saved or who live their lives according to the Bible. It is not to get to the top of the American pie that is the driving force in the former Soviet Union; rather, it is to know Christ. When it comes to preaching, Graham asserts that the message of the cross is transcendent regardless of the location. For every man, woman, and child, regardless of their culture or ethnic group, there is an intrinsic knowledge of sin and disobedience against the Almighty God. This awareness is there deep inside the heart. Even though there are many people who try to hide or ignore the fact that they are guilty of sin, the preaching of the Gospel of God and the activity of the Holy Spirit to convict work together to effectively redeem those who react with trust in Christ and repentance as their response. A matter of the utmost gravity is raised by the significant revival of religion in the nation that was once under communist rule. Is it more probable that the United States of America or Russia will be the country that will be subject to the wrath of God? It is clear that Russia, the land of the czars, has returned to its senses and cannot be accused of intentionally fostering an environment of antichrist. This is because the nation of the czars was responsible for the suppression of Christianity for more than sixty years under the heel of Godless communism. As a result of communism, the Russian people did not voluntarily give up. When it comes to the United States of America, there is no communist boot on the neck; rather, they are naively and willingly throwing away the fundamental faith of their ancestors. If you pay attention to what Christ had to say about letting go of his grace and the treasures of his eternal riches, you will be able to make your own decision. And the servant who understood the will of his master but did not prepare himself or act in accordance with his will would be punished with a great number of stripes. Nevertheless, he who did not know and who did conduct deeds that are deserving of stripes will be punished with a little number of stripes. To anyone a great deal is bestowed, a great deal will be needed of him; and to whomever men have committed a great deal, they will ask even more of him.
