Spain has agreements with certain nations, including the UK, that enable foreign retirees to access public healthcare for free without needing to work. Spain has a national healthcare system that offers health services to all inhabitants of Spain. The national healthcare system, known as Instituto Nacional de la Salud, provides coverage to all Spanish citizens, irrespective of their economic status or affiliation with the social security network.
