In spite of the fact that it is a historic city, La Laguna is a vibrant city now and is an excellent location to get a taste of contemporary life in Canary Islands. Icod de los Vinos In the village of Icod de los Vinos, you may savor the flavor of traditional Tenerife cuisine while also learning about the island’s history. The town was founded in the sixteenth century, and it is home to a multitude of historic landmarks, including the Plaza de la Pila and the old Dragon Tree. However, the primary attraction here is the cuisine. A great number of the meals that are offered in the restaurants on this island are not found anywhere else on the island and are representative of the Tenerife cuisine. Puertito, El The tranquil small fishing hamlet and harbor of El Puertito has managed to escape the popularity and growth of many of its neighboring resorts. Although it is not on the north coast, it is nevertheless worth mentioning since it is often avoided by the crowds of tourists. Instead, the little beach draws in a limited number of tourists who come to take advantage of the fantastic swimming and snorkeling opportunities available here before unwinding at the bar that is located on the harbor’s edge. There are transportation available from the airport to Tenerife, and flights typically take between four and six hours to complete.
