A Man of the Year or a Leader of the Apostasy: Could Pope Francis Be the Answer? The revelation made by Time Magazine that Pope Francis is the “Man (or person) of the Year” has generated a lot of excitement across all levels of the news and media that are now available. Despite the fact that it is unfortunate that we need a news magazine to define for us who the great ones in our society are, this is merely another evidence that man is always seeking for saviors in all the wrong places. Those who believe in the Bible have a propensity to jump to conclusions that often turn out to be premature. There is a plethora of examples, but while attempting to determine who the antichrist may be, it is important to consider everyone from Henry Kissinger in the past to Barack Obama in the present. It is possible that this is the reason why we are exhorted to be steadfast in our faith while God reveals the specifics of eschatological teaching, also known as the doctrine of the second coming, in real time. Although special care must be taken when dealing with the Pope, this is not for the Pope’s sake; rather, it is for the millions of devout Catholics who, after all, are brothers and sisters if they have really answered to the promise found in John 1:12. “However, according to the number of people who accepted him, he bestowed upon them the authority to become the sons of God, even those who have faith in his name.” The position of “Leader” is not a sacred office. It is said in Matthew 13:24f that the wheat and the tare grow together in the field; yet, this does not imply that people who are in positions of authority are free from becoming tares. Because the wave of apostasy is well started in the church, both Protestant and Catholic, it is no longer possible to conceal the facts about who is regressing and who is following the line. This is because the day of concealing the truth has long since gone. The rule of the day is to either recognize the lies at this moment or find a way to become a part of them. In a world where apostasy and decline are reaching Mach velocities, the Pope has to realize that regardless of what his intentions were in his words regarding homosexuality and abortion, perception has become the better part of reality in today’s society. This is something that the Pope needs to comprehend. Already, atheists, agnostics, and every other type of antichristian person has welcomed the words of the Pope as evidence that the Catholics are finally loosening up and entering the twenty-first century, which is supposed to be a time when tolerance and diversity are supposed to replace adherence to the moral laws and demands of the living God. The moral precepts of the Bible are not to be disregarded or disregarded for overt gestures of generosity, such as the Pope washing the feet of inmates, but they are inextricably linked to such deeds for all eternity. Behaving in a manner that is reminiscent of Christ and steadfastly adhering to the principles that are found in the Bible are not to be practiced alone, but rather jointly till the end of time. What we know is as follows. Abortion is considered to be a kind of genocide, and the Bible expressly condemns any and all homosexual behaviors outright. Nobody will be able to flee. A day of reckoning has arrived for each of them. Your productivity will be scrutinized at the next judgment, regardless of your position in life, regardless of whether you are the Pope or some unknown and obscure individual. Whether you are a monk or a peasant, the Word of God establishes a fair playing field. Specifically, the following is what the Bible says: “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall talk, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.” Because it is through your words that you will be justified, and it is through your words that you will be condemned. Matthew 12:36 and 37— Do you find yourself becoming used to hypocrisy and double standards? The promise made by Barack Obama that individuals in the United States could maintain existing health care plans if they liked them has been referred to as the “lie of the year” by Politifact, according to Megyn Kelly, who is a news anchor and the host of the Kelly Files. ’ Exactly when you thought you had had enough of hypocrisy, the same man who stood in front of the media and repeatedly lied about healthcare stood up in South Africa, crying and praising Nelson Mandela. Mandela is a man who is known for devising the torture known as necklacing, which involves placing burning fueled filled tires over the heads of people and burning them to death in front of their families. A new champion and record breaker has emerged in the realm of hypocrisy. Uproar has been caused in the media as a result of the security breach that occurred at the Mandela monument. It is mainly overlooked, suppressed, or denied that millions of Americans believe that Barack Obama is himself, the largest phony to come down the pike in the history of the presidency. The interpreter who was there at the memorial was a complete and utter hoax. One website that is considered to be conservative has recently begun to prefer a picture that depicts Nelson Mandela and Barack Obama standing next to each other. The caption of the image reads, “Hey, if you’re going to compare Obama to Mandela…can we at least toss him in prison for 27 years. It is not true that Time Magazine publishes covers for the “Liar of the Year” award. It is not about reprimanding the Pope or making fun of the president; rather, it is about doing something about you. If the voices you listen to or the church you attend are moving you away from the revealed word of God, then you are in grave danger. This is true regardless of the voices you listen to or the church you attend. The call to separate oneself from such influences, to find another church, or simply to leave is a summons that comes from a holy source.
