When it comes to myself, I believe that I have been a bit too soft on myself as of late. After eating anything, I find that I am not able to monitor it as quickly as I would want to, and it is possible that a morsel (or ten) does not get recorded to the tracker at all sometimes. I was wondering what happened to the monitoring obsessive who monitored on my mobile phone, iPad, and desktop computer whenever I had the inclination of eating anything. It is still ten pounds that I need to get rid of. Should I be concerned that I just need to shed ten pounds? Only, did I say that? only? Is it possible that I have started to see myself at the conclusion of my quest to lose weight, and if so, is this thinking having a detrimental impact on my weekly weigh-in checks? In my opinion, this is the case. Now that I have my sights set on the finish line, I see that the amount of weekly activity points that I have accumulated is diminishing on my tracker. Can you please tell me where that sweating little flame who started this program is? I was so pleased, delighted, and proud of myself every time I moved my body outside of the usual course of my day. I was hungry for exercise so that I could exercise. What about my very supportive family, who tell me virtually every day how amazing I look? What about my ladies, who range in age from eighteen to twenty, who tell me that my dress is adorable or that my new haircut looks fantastic? I am told by my spouse that I have a very attractive appearance. He loves me despite the fact that I have a significant muffin top. Despite the fact that I am grateful to God for my family and that I enjoy receiving positive reinforcement, I am wondering if it has provided me with the erroneous impression that I have already crossed the finish line and joined the group of individuals who have achieved and maintained their goal weight. Sister, I am not yet one of those people, and I am not going to let my mind to sabotage my path to lose weight at this point in time, when I am so close to achieving my goal. I am aware that this last leg may prove to be just as challenging as the first week and the plateau weeks combined. It has the potential to be the most challenging portion of this race. I am aware of how simple it would be to accept my present weight, but I will not allow myself to do so. Whenever I look at the photographs that I took on my trip the previous week, I see a beautiful woman who needs to shed ten pounds. I have committed to achieving a certain weight, and when I reach that weight, I will experience a sense of accomplishment and pride. When I reach my desired weight, and not before, I will feel comfortable and content with my body.
