Dincloud has just made an announcement about its retail cloud services, which will allow merchants to manage their back office activities in the cloud. The 30th of September, 2014, in Los Angeles, California dincloud, a provider of cloud services that assists businesses in rapidly migrating to the cloud through business provisioning, has announced today the launch of specialized cloud services for the retail industry. These services include dincloud’s hosted virtual desktops, which have won multiple awards. The proprietors of conventional brick-and-mortar stores as well as workers working for online merchants may now control shop operations remotely using any device, including a desktop computer, laptop computer, or tablet computer. dincloud provides hosted virtual desktops (dinhvd and webhvd), hosted virtual servers (dinserver), and cloud storage solutions as part of its retail cloud-based products. Users are given the freedom and availability to perform back office operations from anywhere in the world, at any time, thanks to the solutions provided by secure cloud computing. This includes accounting and bookkeeping, payroll, pricing analysis, access to client information, and any other process that is not reliant upon a physical site being present. dincloud’s solutions are particularly useful to owners of businesses that have more than one location since they make it possible to consolidate all of the relevant information. At the moment, dincloud collaborates with value-added resellers (vars) who are already well-established in the retail sector. One such firm, avitar solutions, Inc., claims that dincloud has made it possible for them to develop and integrate individualized solutions for their clients, which has assisted these customers in driving performance and optimizing business processes. “when it comes to technology, there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all solution; nonetheless, a lot of suppliers will provide you a “box to fit in” and nothing more. The client ends up in a worse position, and the adoption of their cloud environment faces more difficulty as a result, all because it is now constrained to what is in that box. According to Andrew Walsh, Director of Operations at Avitar Solutions, Inc., uniformity is a good thing, but the capacity to adapt a solution is also a good thing since “what works for client a won’t necessarily work for customer b.” “one of the reasons we enjoy dincloud so much is that it gives us the freedom to design a solution so that it meets the requirements of our customers in the most effective way. They also place a greater emphasis on their business relationships with partners and consumers than larger corporations such as Amazon. The fact that we collaborate directly with Dincloud’s engineers to build up the infrastructures of our customers is something that truly sets them apart. Currently, avitar is white labeling dincloud’s hosted virtual desktops and servers, and the company has clients who are using both solutions (which are white labeled as “secure virtual desktops” and “secure virtual servers”). Customers of avitar are able to manage all aspect of their office and sales activities, including hosted email, file storage, marketing and sales data and materials, and product lists, from any location. Because the infrastructure is centralized, workers are able to handle a full firm from an operational aspect whether they are in an office, at home, or on the road. This is true regardless of where they are physically located. In order to unify its accounting department across all of its shops, a supermarket chain with eight locations in the tri-state region that uses avitar’s white branded solution is leveraging hosted virtual servers. The company’s offices are currently used for scanning and disseminating information. The grocery store chain has greatly reduced its overhead expenses thanks to the fact that the majority of the day-to-day back office activities are now handled at its headquarters. As a result, the business does not need an accountant or bookkeeper at each of its stores. Because there is no longer a need for linked physical equipment at each site, the retailer no longer has to incur the capital expenditures or ongoing maintenance expenses associated with having such equipment. They want to migrate to hosted virtual desktops in order to manage the tasks that are presently spread out throughout the organization. Additional advantages for merchants that use cloud services provided by dincloud include the following: savings on expenses: since cloud computing eliminates the need for expensive software, servers, yearly license fees, software updates, and the demand of a 24/7 technology staff, it cuts overhead costs dramatically, with savings of up to 50-70 percent as compared to conventional PCs. scalability is achieved by the simplicity of provisioning (or deprovisioning), which makes it simple to scale up or down as required. This is particularly helpful during holiday shopping seasons when businesses recruit seasonal workers to satisfy the increased customer demand. dincloud is also able to manage an organization’s off-site storage in order to support an expansion in the processing requirements. security: dincloud has exceptionally comprehensive security standards and policies in place with numerous levels of protection at the physical, network, and virtual layers. This helps to assuage some of the worries about dincloud’s security. disaster recovery: using hosted virtual desktops implies that a company’s data lives in the cloud. This enables the data to be accessible from any location, at any time, using any device, in the event that brick and mortar activities are suspended due to a fire, flood, blackout, or other calamity. In addition, dincloud makes use of back up techniques, which save essential data in several geographic places on a regular basis. This method is called as “geo-redundancy,” and it helps alleviate the stress and aggravation associated with the possibility of losing data. The workers of the shop have seamless and remote access to all apps and data at any time. This provides both flexibility and availability. The solutions provided by dincloud provide customers the flexibility to do their job whenever and wherever is most convenient for them. One person may operate many shops remotely and centrally, whether they are in the office, at home, or in another retail location. For example, a pricing study or payroll no longer need a store manager to go to each individual site. “it is crucial for retailers to create methods of conducting business that are more efficient in a global economy that is more competitive. According to Ali Din, Chief Marketing Officer of dincloud, “the cloud is an efficient and cost-effective technique to achieve a cost advantage.” “the use of hosted virtual desktops and servers may assist brick-and-mortar and online shops enhance company productivity, enabling them to concentrate on providing superior customer service and merchandising,” To get further details, please go to www.dincloud.com/retail. about dincloud: dincloud is a cloud services provider that assists businesses as well as organizations in the public sector in fast migrating to the cloud via the use of business provisioning.
