Applexsoft (http://www.applexsoft.com/) has announced the release of version 5.1.1.3 of their picture recovery software for mac. The update has been given a new look, the recovery engine has been completely rewritten, and it now works with Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite. The program was designed to assist users of the mac operating system in retrieving images that had been wiped inadvertently from memory cards, compact flash, and other storage media. It supports the raw images taken by cameras manufactured by nikon, sony, canon, panasonic, samsung, olympus, kodak, fuji, and others. Because it employs separate scan algorithms for each supported file format, it is more successful at rescuing deleted or lost photos. Applexsoft Photo Recovery for Mac 5.1.1.3 needs a minimum operating system version of 10.4. It will set you back $49.95 USD. Download instructions for the free demo version may be found on the official Apple XSoft website.
