Adding warmth and color to the industrial footprint of a property in Beirut, Askdeco demonstrates how human nature responds to eclectic warmth, which is a mood that is universal and will never go out of style. There are breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, ancient Roman ruins on one side, and the vibrancy of downtown Beirut’s colorful streets on the other side of this 700 square meter modern family duplex that is owned by a young couple with a baby. The interior is decorated with an industrial chic style that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. Nisrine Nasr, co-founder and interior designer at Askdeco, works in collaboration with the client to transform the initial vision of the client for an industrial-styled home into a space that is more refined and livable. This is accomplished by striking a harmonious balance between the muted and monotone color palettes of hard architecture and random bursts of vibrant color. The components of industrial design are brought into play by earth colors, concrete textured walls, gunmetal finishes, Mediterranean grey marble flooring, and brown wood. Wood and metal infuse a cosier design into its core, yet the aspects of industrial design continue to be present. In order to create a trendy style statement, carefully chosen pieces of art, unconventional furniture and furnishings, and one-of-a-kind accessories are all necessary components. The public top level is created for fun and leisure, reflecting the lifestyle of the client, and it has a reception space that is capable of organizing parties away from the bedroom sections. The upper level is divided into two quite contrasting atmospheres. Among its amenities are a cigar lounge, a bar, and an activity area, the latter of which is equipped with a modern football table and high-end billiards. The two levels are connected by a magnificent spiral staircase that resembles a cage. This staircase serves as a transition, leading down to a space that is noticeably more intimate. This space includes bedrooms, a modern kitchen, and a family living room that includes comforts such as a sofa and a daybed. In addition, the bottom level of the area is home to a primary bathroom that is anything from typical. It is equipped with a glass bathtub and a free-standing bathtub mixer, both of which serve as the focal point of an atmosphere that is intended to provide complete relaxation. Nasr adds that places that are well built are able to work without any difficulty and improve the quality of life of the people who inhabit them. A proverb that is echoed by our current holiday special! Take a look at the pictures on the website indiaartndesign.com.
