ROUTER OR LAYER 3 SWITCH WHICH IS BEST?

Cisco pricing wide area network in which I need to connect to numerous distinct networks that suffer from a variety of ethernet dropouts caused by several wireless radios and network segments. There would be no serial or T1/T3/other types of connections made here, and the maximum number of gigabit ethernet connections would be somewhere around six. For complete routing capabilities, I need to decide whether to use a router like a 2900 or a Layer 3 switch like a 3560 with an upgraded image. Currently, I am thinking between the two options. With either platform, I should be able to do what I need to do with the routing, but I’m not sure which one would be the better choice in terms of price against performance. Are there any thoughts?
