Today’s press reported on the christening of a future king, which refers to the infant son of the deceased princess Diana’s royal prince in England. The baby was reportedly baptized using Jordan River water by the archbishop of Canterbury. Without a sure, the so-called baptism was by sprinkling, since immersion baptism would have likely been rather painful for the baby and an immersion baptism would have required more than a little bottle of Jordanian water. Now, who else uses sprinkling to baptize infants? The Catholic Church, of course. However, John the Baptist was baptized by immersion in the Bible. That is how baptism is done in the Bible. and baptismal candidates must to be old enough to comprehend the significance of their situation. This baptism was a mistake by the royal family.
