The perfume pagoda is a very alluring location and a very well-known pilgrimage place in Vietnam. Every year when spring arrives, all of Huong Son’s mountains and woods blossom with Mo flowers. Many thousands of visitors are eager to visit the Perfume Pagoda to burn incense, pray for happiness, good fortune, serenity, and prosperity, and to take in the natural beauty. 69 kilometers south of the city of Hanoi, in the My Duc province’s Huong Son district, is where the Perfume Pagoda Festival is place. Beginning on the sixth day of the first lunar year, the event continues through the end of the third lunar month. The sixth day of the first lunar month has a reputation among the locals as the day the woodland entrance is opened. You can only visit the Perfume Pagoda for one day. The pagoda is crowded during festivals because visitors from a distance must spend the night in one of the area’s hotels or guesthouses before coming back the following day. Visitors must go by boat for one hour to the Perfume Pagoda and one hour return. There are numerous mountains with a variety of shapes on both sides of the Yen stream. To go to Huong Tich Grotto from the dock, you must first ascend a steep mountain to reach Thien Tru Pagoda. Please take the cable if you are too exhausted to climb there. There are two types of cables available: one way and two ways. If you are physically capable, you should consider walking so you can take in the breathtaking view. Price of the tickets: For visitors from outside of Vietnam, the boat ticket costs 40,000 VND and the general sightseeing trip costs 50,000 VND. If you’re traveling in a large party, please hire a boat large enough to accommodate 15 to 20 people. The cost of the cable is 80,000VND for one way and 120,000VND for two ways. Avoid the time of festival if possible because it will be extremely congested with people and all the services will be highly expensive, regardless of whether you book a 1-day Vietnam motorbike tour to the Perfume Pagoda or ride there on your own.
