Young people who own their own homes, modern conveniences, and a contemporary house that is covered in a blanket of white… They capitalized on the panoramic view by zeroing in on a minimalist palette, opening up the 130 square meter apartment as a bauble in white. This was done when architecture studio a-cero, which is managed by Joaquin Torres and Rafael Llamazares, was asked to redesign an old outdated penthouse in a classic skyscraper in Madrid. An open-plan arrangement with a living room and balcony as well as a kitchenette that is concealed from view is envisioned as a polyvalent space. The apartment is divided diagonally. If it is more convenient for you, the kitchenette may be concealed behind a sliding partition in either a partial or entire manner. The spatial arrangements of the property are summarized by the presence of a master bedroom that is equipped with an attached bathroom and another bedroom that has a washroom located in the hallway. The residence is blessed with an abundance of natural light, which contributes to the enchantment of the tranquil and balmy color palette, ensuring that it remains radiant and pleasant. The height of the home is 142 meters. Its subtle material palette, which includes white hardwood flooring and custom white lacquered furnite developed by a-cero, is a wonderful combination with the linear-angular kitchen, light fixtures, and most importantly, the unique apartment that was designed by a-cero. With home automation in place, the apartment comes to life, elevating the gentle notes of oblique flowing lines to their highest possible level of luxury. The fact that the whole renovation project was completed within the most affordable price is the cherry on top of the cake!
