For instance, if a retail company sells ten things on a Monday and twenty products on the Monday before, a data analyst will seek to determine the underlying reason of the discrepancy between the two days and then relay that information to the appropriate teams. Reporting technologies like Qlik, Tableau, and Sisense, to mention a few, are often used by data analysts in order to present their results to the audience.
